Tasks

• Management and Development of the Involuntary Admission Review Committee for mentally ill patients.
• Operation of the Involuntary Admission Review Committee
• Guidance/supervision of overall administrative hospitalization process at designated psychiatric institutions
• Support and Monitoring of the Admission Management and Information System (AMIS)
• Management of the secondary diagnosis system for confirming process of involuntary admission
• Protection and advocacy of mentally ill patients’rights through Public Guardianship, Supported Decision Making collaborating with division of Mental Health Policy, the Ministry of Health and Welfare.
